Sykes Music was established by Julia Sykes in 2000. Sykes Music was a piano school until 2005 when it expanded into singing, guitar, bass guitar, drums, band coaching and kinder.

Julia Sykes began creating the Sykes Music Program in 2003 when she found that there was no program available which covered all areas of music and created well rounded musicians.

Over the past three years, Julia has been printing books and training teachers in the Sykes Music Program. Currently there are 190 students in the school and 8 teachers.
